Per Raw Story’s Sarah Burres: The state Republican party in Minnesota may have missed the deadline to fulfill all the requirements to get Donald Trump’s name on the ballot this November.
His name does NOT appear on the sample ballot on Minnesota Secretary of State’s website:
Although the deadline to file Trump’s name is not until this Monday, August 29, the problem is that the state party at its state convention did not nominate “alternate” electors to vote for Trump in the Electoral College, as is required by the Minnesota state constitution.
As you would guess, the party is scrambling to fix the problem in time, but it’s not clear how (short of a time machine) they can properly nominate alternate electors in a way that complies with the law.
Huh, maybe riling up all the yahoos and cranks and letting them overrun your state-level party organizations may be a bad thing. Who knew?

Thanks, Garrett, for pointing this out in the comments:
Politico says Trump will be on the ballot:
Donald Trump's name will appear on Minnesota ballot, a state official said, after its initial absence from the secretary of state's website caused minor alarm in Minnesota GOP circles.
"We just received the last item," said Ryan Furlong, communications director for the Minnesota Secretary of State, about Trump's paperwork. "We were waiting for a pledge from one of the alternate electors. The filing is complete and the Republican ticket should be listed on our site shortly."
Still it was fun to watch the Minnesota GOP in a panic. And make no mistake, it was a panic. Last night they tried to make last-minute appointments that violate their own party constitution, which is a pure desperation move. Who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh at the Republicans’ expense?
